MAISON MARAZUL, completed in 2011 is the result of seven years of dreaming, planning and perseverance. Initially conceived as a courtyard home, the house was carefully sited to preserve the natural beauty of the jungle canopy and existing trees for the benefit of the original locals- monkeys, iguanas and birds, who continue to live and thrive on the property. Rather than compete with the spectacular nature surrounding the home, MAISON MARAZUL sits lightly on the land.

The uniquely curated decor and design of MAISON MARAZUL lends a distinctive personality to the home. All furnishings were custom designed by the owners and fabricated by local artisans and craftsmen who lived on the property while building was in progress.
